Summary: Love the Eureka Enviro Steamer Comment: After much research and deciding what would work best for me I purchased the Enviro Steamer and LOVE IT, I have all hardwood and ceramic tile floors. A Husband that works Construction and we have a Farm, 3 Grown sons that are in out, 1 Grandchild AND 3 dogs. My floors get dirty!!! I had paint splatters on the floor that have been there 4 years and it steamed them off. Also took glue off that was on there for some time. I just love it. You have to wait the 3 minutes or so that it says. And I have washed the mop cloth at least six times since the beginning of April 09 and I have not seen that they shrunk and I even washed them in hot water. So glad I found this Mop. Have the Hoover floormate and my floor was never really clean. And was very surprised....ordered from Amazon.com on a Thursday and by Friday afternoon I had it.

Summary: Satisfied Customer Comment: I recently purchased the Eureka Enviro floor steamer and couldn't be happier. Forget about the fact that it was a great price and arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The product work's great as advertised.
The first time that I used it, it left the floors a little more wet than I would have liked. Subsequent uses worked much better with just enough steam to clean and the floor dried quickly. (Perhaps a little user inexperience the first time around?)
I highly recommend it, especially on tiled floors or even wood floors with a high gloss sealant on them.

Summary: Does the job Comment: I like this mop. It does take a while to use though. I have to move slowly so that it works well but I like that better than the hard work of a sponge mop which hurts my back. This does not leave my floors very wet. At first the tile dries very quickly. After using it for awhile the pad gets wetter and the floors stay wet longer, but for me thats just one small section and it doesn't bother me. I read that other mops have a trigger for the steam but this one just steams continuously. I really like that because having to press the trigger over and over would really start to hurt my fingers. It cleans the tile well and it looks great! I think this is a great mop for the price.

Summary: Excellent Product Comment: I have used my Eureka Enviro Steamer twice and absolutely love it. It cleans without chemicals, leaves no residue and is very easy to push. I can clean a large kitchen floor (wood) with one fill of the tank. It's great for wood floors, because you don't have to use cleaners or vinegar, which can dull the finish. The floors dries in less than 5 minutes on a humid day. Does not create puddles of water, only steam. Very easy to use, just add water and plug in. Wait 5 minutes and it's ready. Comes with 2 very thick, (not disposable) pads that you can wash in the washing machine, but are not supposed to put in the dryer in case they shrink. Also comes with a foam tray that you set the unit in while it's heating up or cooling down. The only thing I would recommend is to sweep or vacuum your floor very well before you clean it with this cleaner, as it is not designed to pick up crumbs. Floors look great when done!

Summary: Great mop for wood floors Comment: I have 1000sq ft of wood floors downstairs and the "recommended" cleaning for them is a wood cleaner spray with a soft cloth mop. This makes them shiny but it doesnt CLEAN them (wood in kitchen can get dirty) so I have been using swifer pads. These are expensive AND they leave the floor looking streaky and feel sticky to walk on so footprints are even more visible. This mop is awesome. It cleans quickly. just ONE fill of the water tank does all 1000sq ft. I dont have to buy swifer pads anymore. AND I am not putting chemicals on my floors! It dries MUCH quicker than the swifer pads do. I couldn't find anything that said this is unsafe for wood. I know water is bad for wood but this is such a light damp pad that it dries so quickly (by the time I finish one side of room the other is dry, so I do not logically think it is harmfull for the wood. it is the same as taking a barely damp HOT washcloth to the floor. I LOVE my mop!
