Summary: Excellent Product compared to the Shark Steam Mop
Comment: I bought the Eureka Steam Mop a month ago, after carefully weighing consumer reviews. My mom purchased the Shark steam mop so I had a chance to compare the two products. The Shark steam mop was definately flimsier and so light weight that it strains the back to push it around. The Eureka steam mop however is solidly build and heavier, which makes it easier to push around. We have hardwood floors and the Eureka mop left no streaks and left the floors looking clean. I even went over the floor again afterwards with a swiffer to see how it did. The pad did not pick up any dirt, so I assess the Eureka worked great. I would not hesitate to recommend this product over the Shark Steam mop.

Summary: Where Has This Been All My Life?!?!...
Comment: After finally giving up all hope that my Swifter Wet-Jet would ever get my floors REALLY clean, and seeing numerous commercials for the Shark Steamer, I decided it was time to switch. I initially started looking at the Shark, but then this caught my eye, and I really liked A)The price and B)The water tank sits on the floor, not the middle of the handle.

After using this for awhile, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This is a no-brainer approach to steaming your floors to a sanitized shine! Just fill the tank, give it 3 minutes to warm up, steam your floors, and refill the tank when the orange light comes on (after about 15 minutes of use). When finished, let the machine cool, pour out any remaining water in the tank, throw the pad (it comes with two) in the washer (on gentle) and hang it over a hanger to air dry (do NOT put the cloth in the dryer, it will shrink). So simple, and my floors are SO clean! I'm kicking myself for not getting this sooner!

Summary: Excellent product- be careful where you order from
Comment: I recently ordered this product -it was listed by one company that evening. I paid the $129-as most reviews were very favorable for this product. Upon ordering it mentioned there was a back order and would arrive until mid December. Fine! To my surprise it arrived 2 days later. Wow!- The machine is great! and I am not one to get excited about cleaning devices! But it works (so far) like a dream- we used it in several rooms and were amazed at the ease of use along with overall cleaning abilities. Love the ability to swivel around items -not bulky at all. And not flimsy at all. So easy to use and the results are great. No streaking on our sealed wood floors and great for tile and vinyl floors as well-Just LOVE it! No puddling-
And I'm taking the advise of another user and getting some extra kitchen towels to use as extra floorcloths down the road- I tried one of ours out and it works with this unit- just pay attention to the towel design-use something similar to what comes with product!
WORD OF WARNING -this item list around somewhere in the $70's I learned after when almost leaving feedback for the seller and noted others were selling the item for a huge difference than I paid. While I love this machine-and highly recommend it - Be cautious about who you are ordering from- There is no reason to price gouge if the item in most places is on back order, $68-90 is what I have been seeing now, after I purchased mine- and that is a very fair price- it's worth the wait -believe me. And a side note- I did contact the seller to inquire about the huge difference in his price and what is being offered now- basically he feels it's ok to price gouge-
So-Can't praise this item enough-well built- But be more sensible than me- and pay a more reasonable price- the wait will be worth it- You won't be sorry!

Summary: this mop is the best!!
Comment: The Eureka Enviro Steamer mop is hands down the best mop I've used. I must admit that I owe credit to the reviewer who lined up all of the mops with her neighbors and reviewed them all. This one is true to its advertising. It is easy to use, gets floors super clean, and uses no chemicals. I have had this mop for two and a half months and it works beautifully. Last night as I was preparing supper, my olive oil sprayer exploded and oil was EVERYWHERE. I wiped down the appliances, counters, walls and myself, but even with a spray cleaner, the floor was greasy. My husband said, "How about using your steam mop on this?" (Why didn't I think of that?) Well, needless to say, the Eureka enviro steamer cleaned it to squeaky clean with a once over and no chemicals. And in record time.
I can't believe that I spent years using those disposable-wipe mops on my kitchen hard wood floors. Not to knock those, but this is better,easier to use and again, no chemicals!
I just used it on my master bathroom tile floor this morning and my bathroom is squeaky clean with minimal effort.

Summary: Eureka Enviro steamer works wonders
Comment: Eureka ENVIRO STEAMER
We love this product. It makes cleaning the floors a painless task. We use it on our entryway tile , kitchen linoleum and bathroom. Nocumbersome mop, sink or buckets of water. I pruchased and extra cleaning pads so I have one for every floor. It comes w/ two pads. I loke to go slow to ensure a thorough clean but it still cuts my time in half. It is like pushing a vaccum so no sweating!
