Comment: Bought a Bissell Healthy Home Vacuum as a replacement for aging Dyson DC-7 or -4 that was given to daughter to use.

Bought this Bissell model instead of another Dyson due to high cost and very poor reports on the new Dysons (beater-bar failures and many returns available on eBay).

Bissell is excellent but is not as easy to use as Dyson. Heavier and a little harder to handle. Excellent suction, good quality parts and versitilty. Gets way more dirt up and really fluffs up the carpet compared to the 5 yr old Dyson. Easy to dump canister, do need to wash hands after but no failures so far, 4 mo of weekly use. Nice to have selectable carpet height. Noise is about the same. 5 yr. warranty sounded good, too. Hope that I don't need to use it.

Bought at Target in case I needed to return it. Found last one there on sale today for $139!! Paid $199...oh well, still a good deal.

Still like the looks and ease of use of the Dyson early models. My wife is a little troubled by the extra wt. of the Bissell so I end up doing the vacuuming, no problem.

Comment: I absolutely love this vacuum cleaner! The hose reaches to the top of my curio cabinet with ease,the stair attachment is a great plus, and the easy snap on and off canister I just love. This is just a great all around vacuum for the price.

I would recommend it to anyone looking for a super vacuum at this price.

I did my research before purchasing this vacuum. I also read many reviews about this vacuum and now I can also be a good witness for this vacuum.

I believe I read you can also purchase addional attachments for this vacuum which I will look into in the near future.

Summary: It is a ok but too heavy to use.
Comment: It clears well but it is just too heavey as people have mentioned. It is not convienent to be used at home even there is not much furniture in my place at all. I always hit walls or something else. I just wish I have bought another ligher one.

Comment: Although this vacuum is a bit heavy (I guess they all are) it has every feature I wanted. I like having the power off agitator brush on the handle and it really does have great suction. I'm pleased I bought this vacuum.
